Prayers & Thanksgiving
"Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one an fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak." Isaiah 40:28,29
- Praise God for the great love he has lavished upon us in the life, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus for the forgiveness of our sins and our salvation.
- Thank God for the classes this year - for the joy of welcoming back the returning students and meeting and getting to know the new student
- Thanks for the goodness and kindness of God in the provision of the new city teaching centre, library and offices for the College and ADISL.
- Pray for the students as they prepare and submit assignments, and prepare for their exams - pray for good preparation and clarity of thought and expression. Pray for joy in all they learn.
- Pray for ongoing preparations for the Oasis Conference June 25-27. Pray for Robyn Claydon, Jenni Stoddart and Alison Napier as they prepare to bring God's refreshing word to us from Isaiah and Psalms.
- Pray for Jackie Stoneman as she leads the College - teaching, planning and visioning new directions to equip women to serve Christ in Sydney and beyond.
- Pray for further generous support for the 2010 Library Appeal for purchase of new books and resources. About $17,000 has been raised towards our target of $30,000.
