Diploma of Theology
The Diploma of Theology requires the completion of 12 units (i.e. 48 credit points). Each unit is worth 4 credit points (cps).
The Diploma of Theology requires the successful completion of 1.5 years of full-time study or the equivalent part-time. There is no maximum time in which to complete the course.
Full-time study is considered to be 4 units per semester. No students may enrol in more than 5 units in any one semester.
Cost per Unit
Mary Andrews College is an affiliated college of the Australian College of Theology (ACT). The Australian College of Theology is a self-accrediting national Higher Education Provider (HEP). It operates as a consortium of independent affiliated colleges. The ACT has set the 2017 Diploma fees as $1,600 per unit. FEE-HELP is available for Australian citizens enrolled in the Diploma or the Advanced Diploma. See more information on FEE-HELP.
The 2017 fee for attendance only (i.e. auditing) students is $320 per unit.

|The Diploma of Theology (Pathway 1) requires the following core units:|
|* Old Testament (OT): OT240 (or both OT201 and OT202)|
|* New Testament (NT): NT240 (or both NT201 and NT202)|
|* Church History (CH): one of CH201, CH202, CH205-CH209|
|* Theology (TH): either TH210 or TH211|
|and the following elective units:|
|* Old Testament exegesis (OT): one unit|
|* New Testament exegesis (NT): one unit|
|* Christian Thought and History (TH/CH/PE): two units|
|* Electives: minimum of two more units, including a maximum of two type B units (if offered)|
|Total = 12 units|
