MAC Enrolment Information

Thank you for enrolling to study at Mary Andrews College during 2018. Below is important information for you before attend the first class.

Teaching Centres

You are probably aware that units are held at different locations.  Click on the relevant centre name(s) below to see information about each centre including its address, a map of its location, and transport information.

New students

New students are welcome to attend either of our information mornings on 24 January or 1 February if you want a chance to ask questions or find out more about how the courses are structured before your first class. Alternatively, feel free to bring a friend along to the information morning who might be interest in studying also.

 

Read the information in the section below which is relevant to the level at which you are studying. Diploma students are to read the section titled ‘Diploma level’. Certificate students are to go straight to the section titled ‘Certificate level’. Auditing students (who are those not doing any assignments) are to go straight to the section titled ‘Auditing (no assessments)’.

Forms to be completed

Please download all three forms below and ensure all are completed and either emailed or posted back to Mary Andrews College as soon as possible (at the latest a week before classes start).

  3. Enrolment in ACT Units (and course) form: either PDF file or Word document

Mary Andrews College is an affiliated college of the Australian College of Theology (ACT). Their diploma courses have been accredited until the end of 2021. (For more information on the Australian College of Theology, see their website www.actheology.edu.au.) Enrolling in a diploma unit as part of a diploma course means that you intend to complete that diploma course.

If you are applying for FEE-HELP for the first time for this diploma course, you can apply for that online once you have been enrolment in that course has been processed with the Australian College of Theology. The instructions for doing this online are in the student handbook. Only a few FEE-HELP paper application forms will be available from 2018, so ask the college if you need a paper copy.

Important Dates

Please download the document below containing the list of important dates for each unit of study offered by MAC. Use your unit code to identify which are the dates relevant for each of your units. These dates are especially important if you need to make changes to your enrolment, e.g. change your unit, day, location or to withdraw from study. The document also explains if, when, and what penalties may incur if you make changes. Generally, there is no penalty if you make changes before your first class.

Auditing (no assignments)

(Auditing a unit means that you are not doing the assignments for that unit. You will therefore not need to enrol in a diploma or certificate course nor complete the Enrolment in ACT Units form.)
