2017 Archaeology of the Bible Lands Study Tour (OT245)
Join archaeologist Dr Karin Sowada for a tour of Jordan and Israel. The study tour will visit key archaeological sites, which will assist in understanding the cultural, geographical and historical factors behind the biblical narratives.
The Jordan and Israel study tour dates are 17 March to 2 April 2017.
The study tour itinerary and prices are listed in the study tour leaflet. Many fabulous places associated with the Old Testament, New Testament and the early church will be visited – e.g. Petra, Masada, Jerusalem and Jericho to name a few.
The study tour unit is open to all adults, including husbands and other family members. You may choose to not do the assessments for this study tour unit, which is called ‘auditing’.
For Diploma students, this OT245 study tour unit will be counted as one of your elective units (subject to the successful completion of the assessments). You do not need to have completed the Archaeology and the Bible (BB246) unit in order to enrol in this OT245 study tour unit.
To secure a place and enrol in the study tour, a $350 non-refundable deposit is due along with a completed booking form by Wednesday 15 June, 2016 (extended due date).
