13-15 October 2017 Create and Refresh weekend

You are invited to our very popular Create and Refresh weekends at The Hermitage in Mittagong. These weekends are designed to give women the opportunity to slow down in a beautiful, peaceful setting in the Southern Highlands – to reflect on God’s Word, enjoy peace and tranquility, and be renewed and refreshed physically, emotionally and spiritually.

These weekends offer plenty of opportunities to reflect on God’s Word, together with free time to enjoy walks, be creative, sleep, play games, or simply read and chat with the other women on the weekend.

Each weekend is limited to 30 women. Accommodation is in single rooms with ensuite bathrooms.

When: 13–15 October 2017

Leader: Di Morgan

Topic: Prayer

Cost: $400, including accommodation and all meals from supper on Friday night to lunch on Sunday.

So many of us find it hard to carve out an extended time with God – or the very thought of doing that might even scare us a little!  This weekend is designed to give you some practical tips and creative ideas about how to sit with your heavenly Father, and to provide a little bit of structure for those who need it to help you pray. It is also very special to do it alongside other women who have set aside the weekend to focus on spending time with God.

Di Morgan

Di loves to provide the space and a supportive structure to enable people to spend time ‘sitting at the feet of Jesus’. As she often says to her students, “We get so busy with Kingdom activity that we struggle to spend time with the King. Jesus says, ‘Come! Rest! Listen’.”  Di joined the Mary Andrews College faculty after 20 years on the ministry team of St Barnabas’ Broadway. She recently completed courses in Coaching and in Pastoral Supervision. She currently lectures in Pastoral Care and Personal Life of the Christian.
