Learning in the midst of life

Flexible learning is now a reality at MAC! We are looking forward to extending flexible study options in the coming year and enabling more women to study with us, even in the midst of their busy lives.

Flexible study options at MAC include:

  • Workshops – These short workshops can be run at your church, in Christian organisations and even in Bible study or other small groups. They can be structured as a one-day workshop, or as a few sessions held over several weeks. While rigorous, they won’t be assessed or accredited, allowing participants to focus purely on engaging as deeply as possible with God’s word. Our MAC lecturers are keen to equip women theologically and practically in all spheres, and can tailor training to specific needs.
  • Study as you go – If you can’t commit to a full-time study load, don’t forget that you can always study part-time – even one subject at a time. You can also choose to take up the auditing option, which allows you to take part in a unit without completing assessments. Students can follow their interests and passions, or ministry needs, as they feel led. For example, those involved in pastoral care would benefit from the training provided through our many pastoral care units. There are so many varied and engaging units, so make sure you check out what’s on offer at mac.edu.au.
